VBS 2022
FAChurch's 2022 Vacation Bible School was held Tuesday, June 21st to Thursday, June 23rd in the mornings from 8:15am to 11:30am at the main church on Cheyenne Avenue. Over 40 children from Pre-K to 6th grade attended!
Special thanks to our VBS Director Tina Pembroke and the many volunteers that made this year's VBS an overwhelming success!
This year's theme was "Zoomerang: Returning to the Value of Life." Our theme verse was Psalm 139:14 "I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are Your works; my soul knows it very well.
The children learned about the love of Jesus and how every person is precious to God and is created in the image of God, wonderfully designed to know Him and live for Him. Out of His great love, God offers salvation through His Son, Jesus. They learned that all life is valuable.
Throughout the week the children learned through Bible verses, stories, songs, games, and craft projects.
On Thursday night, June 23rd, at 7pm at the main church on Cheyenne Avenue we closed our week with an Open House Program for children, their families, and friends.
We were entertained by the children as they shared songs and verses, they learned during the week. After the Program we enjoyed additional fellowship with a cookie social...and a certain pastor took a pie to the face, again, as the children were challenged to bring their change in all week to donate to The Resource Center and exceeded the challenge! amount!
